Application Process and Timeline
Every child deserves the opportunity to better themselves and follow their dreams. The Ida C. Koran Trust provides academic assistance for associates with dependent children seeking to broaden their horizons through undergraduate study. Below are the application details and deadlines. Applications will be open for submission on 15 October 2020 for the 2021-22 academic year.

Application Timeline
Applications must be postmarked by noted deadline in mid-February and are sent to Scholarship Management services for processing. Students are notified of their award status the first week in May. PLEASE NOTE: As a result of COVID-19 delays, award notification will now take place the LAST week in May.
Application Process
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, an outside appraisal and financial need.

Application materials are available 15 October 2020.

Financial need is assessed to determine the amount of each award. Recipients must demonstrate financial need to receive an award.

After review and approval, the awards are to be used for educational expenses for one full year of study at an accredited institution: Technical or vocational school, community college, nursing school, trade school, college or university.
